[this is good]
Thanks for supplying the above Al. It's good that i can have this page open on one tab whilst doing other stuff on other tabs.

Not that you don't have your own persona, but the song, 'Lift', is very 'Roxy Music' cum Bryan Ferry. The style is very similar. I love Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry myself. Good one.
Apologies for saturating the comments section, but i had to say this. Your pieces seem to be a symbiosis of Bryan Ferry, Cafe del Mar, and Dead Can Dance. Very nice. It's nice to know that there are three good musicians(including, Marshall Star and Dave Birdsall) in my neighbourhood. Cheers Al.
Thanks Ed. I put it there for my own benefit really, not imagining that anyone would find it, let alone use it. Thanks for the comments. I've actually heard of Roxy Music, but the other 2 are beyond my ken. I just write what comes to mind, with no (despite all the advice of people in the know) thought to marketing or 'direction'. The beauty of the internet (and this isn't a new idea) is that I can post a song one moment and have people all over the world hear it the next, with no filtering from large corporations and their 'must make a profit' purifying kit. It won't have mass appeal because it doesn't have mass-marketing behind it (and, probably, it's not good enough), but it gives me a voice of at least a little magnitude. Thanks again for dropping in - Al
